 Green Field Ag official opened for business on Feb 14th, 2013 after branching off from there sister company Widmer & Associates, our roots go back to the late 90’s in precision agriculture.  We were the first around to invest into the yield monitor pioneered by Ag Leader Technology as well as one of the first in Northwest Ohio selling and more importantly servicing auto-steer technology in agriculture.  In 2005 we installed and provided the foundation to the first RTK GPS Network in Northwest Ohio and Southeastern Michigan working with both 900 and 450 mHz radio based signals.  This RTK network provided the backbone to allow us to branch off into the strip till fertilizer and tillage application.  GFA used its highly repeatable GPS guidance to make strip till a widely accepted tillage and management practice in Northwest Ohio.
